When I took these photos it was about somewhere between 85-90 degrees. Summer is definitely here, I feel most comfortable in the AIR CONDITIONING. Well the heat can be enjoyable, but not with the heat index so high. I saw this dress at Walmart of all places,while I was shopping with my mother. When shopping for clothing, these trips frequently have exchanges like

"Oh Mom, I love this!!!
"That is terrible. Time to move on"

This maybe a little exaggerated. But we have a lot of disagreements on clothing. But any way I was eyeing the dress and She liked it too! I still want a little chambray dress like the one from Lover though.

Here we go again, I kinda wanna be more than friends....

Well 2 posts in one month, a record! I know posting has been terrible, But with this being finals week.. posting probably wont be regular till the first week of June. And it will be summer then. Yay! I love and hate summer because this year we are moving again. If have read my blog for a while than you know we move a lot. I hope that this move is more permanent because I want to finish high school there. Truthfully, I am kind of scared. Well I'm off to make flash cards.

Well, This weekend I am SUPPOSED to be me Utilizing my time! Really I am just surfing the Internet and pretending to do what I am supposed to. Which includes: memorizing my lines for my school's play, making my t-shirt, and baking! Like last weekends post here's the run-down...


I did end up making blondies and and 2 cake, one was a plain one that I made for my dad.

I also made blondies again, but this time with white chocolate batter with milk chocolate chips.





Ok I finally ended up making my t-shirt! I wanted to do a shirt with some text.. but that didn't really work. The text background came out a pinkish red. I was kind of defeated! But i decided to try again, with making a design that I drew. I used a orange permanent marker to draw the design. I scanned it on my dad's laptop and turned up the color saturation and flipped the image. I loved the second shirt 10 times more then the 1st one. I will be experimenting more with t-shirts.









This is one of the first ones I have made in a while. The t-shirt I used was Hanes 100 percent cotton,and it was kind of a heavier then the 5 pack hanes shirts.

None of the collections really were inspiring me as much as they did last year. Then I finally saw 3.1 Philip Lim and I
really enjoyed it. The collection was definitely about aesthetics, as mentioned in the style.com articles.I think the looks were clean and took some insight from last years collection. I love the sequins and double breasted looks and flowy dresses. While the collection is nothing new, It was a good step for the Philip Lim.

Weekend

Nail Painting! I have been reading a lot of nail blogs and was inspired to purchase some polishes. I had a number of them last month, but I seemed to have lost them all. I have taken a great deal of the from my mother who has nail polishes from the year I was born. She doesn't use them much. I tried to get a photo of my nails but it didn't really work.... The polishes are Pure Ice:Mint Dream, Sally Hansen Xtreme wear:Rockstar pink, and Sally Hansen Xtreme wear: Marine Scene. I purchased these at...walmart. People have a lot of opinions about the place, But the polishes are cheap.












Baking! I love to bake things. It's a very obsessive hobby. Today I made blondies, with white and milk chocolate chips. To me they kinda taste like cookie bars, but intend to play with the recipe a bit. They turned out pretty well. I will post the recipe, if anyone wants it!


There was going to be a third one talking about my adventures,doing an iron on t-shirt but I didn't get to that. I have the beginnings of the process but, I have to work on my design... Until next time!

After Christmas, I feel that snow is pretty much useless. The weather has only been below freezing which is pretty vexing.Also a huge snow snowstorms are coming our way. This year I made some new resolutions:

. Be more nice.
This is kind of weird ,but I want to be more nice to people I don't know that well. But putting it here makes me sound like I committed a murder last year.(I didn't)

Today was my first day back. Since I changed 2 classes and everything is out of order. I was very upset when I got to school. So of course all my friends are like "None of my classes changed, I'm' with the same people." While I was so heartbroken to my lack of friends in my classes. But I think I am going to change my schedule so I think I can calm down.

The traditions of high school/

So when I hopped out of the car on Thursday morning, I quickly felt the cold wind wrap around my tights-less legs. I was like AHH Fall when did you get here? I am so ready to break out my small assortment of tights. Ahh school has been so fun. This week was spirit week!!!. Homecoming was on Saturday. I had a lot of fun. There Were some awkward moments, But I enjoyed myself. My dress I ordered it from nordstroms a week ago. Its from a brand called JS Boutique. I lovee it !! They played songs like Your a Jerk, Poker Face etc. My friends were there and it was fun seeing the teachers NOT enforcing the no grinding rule.I am also looking forward to Halloween. I plan on going to see my schools production of Sweeney Todd. Perfectly creepy and dark for Halloween.Oh, I also got new glasses. I love them , there alot bigger then my old ones and I was kinda uncomfortable at first, but I got over it. Fashion week was very exciting, no? I will post my favorite looks soon.

Back to Life ,back to reailty

Wow not posted in awhile. I pretty much fail at life. Well, I have been back to school for two weeks. I had been home schooled from 5th-8th grade, so going back to school in 9th grade was interesting to say the least.(said as I look at my not finished English paper). I will be blogging about my experience along with my outfits. They have been pretty minimalistic, with cross country practice 6 days a week. But an outfit post should happen by Tuesday. Fashion week starts in a couple days, I can't wait to watch see the S/S 10 shows, even though its will only be on style.com.I am pretty much having fun in school, people are interesting, and having a social life again is awesome. But people can be so awkward. Some of the conversations range from whether Dora the Explorer or Diego is better to whether my health teacher more stupid them most. ( He is). This a variation of what i have been wearing over the last couple of days. AS for the crappy photos my camera uploads have been pretty problematic.I think I will fix it by thursday though. The shirt is old navy. The skirt was a dress but i folded down the top. I think it was from nordstrom 2 years ago. its funny that my style has changed so much.I am done with school and dance.(YAY!) But i have been waiting at the mail for my hopeful high school acception letters. I will be posting regularly soon.

1. White Blazer Gap 2009

I have seen this blazer several times in magazines. I think it retails for 78 I am gonna skip over to my local gap and see if its there. But it has not popped up on the website.





2.Black Cropped Blazer.

MQ mcqueen for Target, I liked the denim jacket but it was completely sold out.












3.Cream Dress

Dresses from Delia's and Quail. I love the idea of dressing only in light colors for the spring. I will most likely get the Delia's dress but the quail dress would be nice.








4.Full skirts
I love high waisted skirts. Tucking t shirts, into this skirt will look perfect.
